Located along the Deen Dayal Upadhaya Marg in Delhi, this design was won as part of a National competition for the prestigious Comptroller & Auditor General’s Offices headquarters. Surrounded by greenery, the site for the building is placed in an area interspersed with high-level and important government office buildings – most of them dating back to the British era. The design character of the building is a blend of contemporary Indian architecture combined with Lutyens’ style of architecture that pervades prominent Government edifices in Delhi. Rising up to a height of five floors, the building projects a grid-like façade, which complements the design sensibility of other built structures in the vicinity.
