Architecture is not just about making impressive buildings on paper, but more importantly to deliver projects which are functional, safe, easy to maintain, sustainable and long lasting. We have been engaging with architecture in a holistic manner since the inception of the firm and have all allied services like Structure, Engineering, Project Management, Value Engineering and Green Building as an integral part of the organisation.
Since inception, the use of materials and vernacular design sensibilities have been one of the core values for the firm. From the use of exposed bricks at Jawaharlal Nehru University to stone in Gautam Buddha University to Reinforced Cement Concrete at Asian Paints, CPKA has been a pioneer of vernacular architecture in India. This has created a functional and impactful, yet an aesthetic architecture. A focused and dedicated studio team to study and generate simulations is another initiative to prepare consciousness around green and vernacular architecture by the Architects. C P Kukreja Architects, a one-of-its-kind multi-disciplinary firm, has strived to consciously contribute towards environment friendly architecture in India. For varied scales of projects spread across different locations, every design carefully takes into account, the impact of the building on its surrounding environment, ideating a design which does not harm the natural ecology. Landscape design plays a very important role in this endeavour. It is an important aspect while designing Master Plans, influencing sustainability in architecture through careful calculation of the built to the unbuilt. We have been, through continued efforts, established our name as one of the best landscape architects in India.
