JCB was one of the first corporate groups to establish their industrial unit in Mahindra World City, a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) based on the concept of an "Integrated Business City". Today, this SEZ has become a thriving centre of economic generation in the State. The site spreads over an enormous 115 acres surrounded by major roads on all sides. The natural but uneven contouring perched the rear side of the site 4 metres higher as compared to the front side. The site, sloping to the front, had a rain water drainage area created naturally.
