The project is a mixed-use commercial complex located on a prominent site along the highway leading from the airport to the city. A 1,000 seater multiplex and 150-room hotel have been incorporated into the design fabric of the shopping mall. An array of staggered profiles of panels on the façade instill a playful design aesthetic. The Architects minimized the use of glass, instilling a unique character to the mall. This also helped curb any visual or audio disturbance from the highway traffic outside. The side facing away from the highway has been given a resplendent form and used as an entrance for the hotel. The mall distributes the masses of different blocks to achieve a proportionate and breathable ensemble of development. For a progressive city such as Amritsar, these recreation spaces support a futuristic model for growth and revenue generation. The project, therefore, is a prestigious and first-of-its-kind endeavour to uplift the social spaces in the city.
