Spread on a 5 acre site in a bustling locality surrounded by residences, offices and commercial establishments in Faridabad, is the multi-specialty QRG Hospital & Research Centre. Completed in 2013, the 500-bed multi-specialty hospital is housed within a built-up area of 40, 000 sq. ft. The building has an expansive curtain glazing distinguishing its façade and projecting a striking image when seen by the passerby. CPKA’s idea is to challenge the norms of traditional hospital design and create an all-new, fresh image for healthcare architecture. Indeed, the dynamic, curvilinear form of the massive portal at the entrance could make a lasting, impression.
