Sikkim Guest House, New Delhi

Foreign Missions

Sikkim is located amidst the pristine beauty of Himalayas, where the landscape is an essential part of buildings. The same concept has been followed here, whereby a colourful harmony of engagement through design ensues, making visitors exhilarated to stay within the campus for a quick and peaceful getaway. Sikkim is a combination of two Limbu words: su or ‘new’, and khyim, which means ‘palace’ or ‘house’. Located in the prime location of Chanakyapuri in New Delhi, the four-storeyed complex is a fine representation of the culture and architecture of Sikkim. Surrounded by embassies of other prominent countries, one gets glimpses of the building with its typical bordered moulding on the roof through the dense foliage.
