Model Town is a well-known residential locality in North Delhi, adjacent to the famed Civil Lines and developed in the 1950s. The proposal envisages creation of a self-sufficient smart township with a Floor Area Ratio/Floor Space Index (FAR/ FSI) of 4, resulting in a high density, highrise development. Using a holistic form of urban development, it caters to different demographics of population – a leisure park for senior citizens, children’s play area, affordable living spaces for entrepreneurs, etc.
